Cotton fabric is one of the most commonly used types of fabrics in the world. Cotton fabric is a manufacturing biomaterial, based on the conversion of fiber into yarn, yarn into fabric, it’s one of the most important material in the textile industry.
Cotton printing is the commonly used process. Cotton being a natural fiber contains a number of impurities. Hence, cotton fabrics need to be pretreated like scouring before printing. After printing, finishing is done to improve the outlook of the printed fabrics. The general flowchart is as follows.

The above flowchart is for non-mercerized fabrics. In case of mercerized fabrics, mercerizing, neutralizing and washing are done between washing and stentering process, that is, after scouring and bleaching.
